A pattern from The Wild Herrings eBook, Wild Herring Wrap features an offset herringbone stitch. There are 2 charts for the stripe sequences. This can be a stash buster pattern, using the charts as a starting point. The herringbone is repeated on the long edges with a Latvian braid.

NOTES
Worked in a single piece, the 2 Latvian Braid edges are added on the long sides after the wrap is bound off. The braided edges will hide ends or knots as long as they are not too bulky. Knot or weave in ends as you go to keep edges intact. Colors can be carried up or anchored by wrapping over the working yarn before making the last stitch on a WS row. However, carrying more than 2 colors may make the edge bulky.
