Wild Goose Shawlette
Wild Goose is a long crescent shawl that is knitted from the top down using one (100 g) skein of light fingering or fingering weight yarn. The simple design showcases variegated yarn as well as speckled and semi-solids. The handy spreadsheet-style instructions allow you to keep track of your progress or substitute other yarn weights, including handspun.
Materials: Fingering or Light Fingering weight 350 to 490 yds/320 to 450 m. Light fingering weight such as Leading Men Fiber Arts (blue shawl in photos) will yield a larger shawl.
Finished Measurements in Leading Men Fiber Arts Showcase: 75” (190 cm) wingspan and 12” (90 cm) deep at center.
Skill level is beginner and up.
