choppy waters can be terrifying to travel, but beautiful to watch from a safe distance. the layers of waves crashing on top of one another create spectacular colours on top of the water. this shawl takes advantage of gradients of colour, with a classic feather and fan stitch separating the layers. use t-pins when blocking to emphasize the ripping edge.
