Whimsy
What is up and what is down…
A whimsical cardigan - or should we call it a shawl with sleeves, where you can easily get lost in your knitting project.
Whimsy is worked top-down - first the collar, which is also the upper part of the back. Then pick up stitches for the 2 front pieces. The parts are joined and the body is knitted to the desired length, however, interrupted by pockets, integrated into the front pieces. The sleeves are worked directly on the body. The pattern is a wide rib pattern, but interrupted by a few purl rows.
The shape is wide and the style is unpretentious and relaxed - a cardigan you wrap around yourself like a shawl!
