I am a loose knitter, so I used a size 4 to knit these with both weights and was pleased with the results, you can easily adjust it to a size 5 or 6 if you knit tighter.

Also the size can be increased by working with the stitch count, as long as it is in multiples of 4 ---you will do more edging points---one more point for every 4 stitches increased
