The Wheel of Magic Bag is of a practical size with a bit of depth and enough space for a mobile phone, wallet, keys, lipstick and even a small book. I used leather adjustable strap for this bag but it is also possible to make a crocheted strap for it.

My bag doesn’t have a fabric lining. Instead I decided to crochet one circle to use it as a lining for the front part to hide its wrong side. I hope you’ll enjoy this pattern!

This easy to follow pattern (18 pages) is written for one size It contains step by step full written instructions in English using standard crochet abbreviations and US terms (stitch guide is given in the pattern). It also contains lots of pictures explaining all the tricky and difficult places.

Crochet level: Advanced (mandala is crocheted in both Overlay and Tapestry crochet techniques).

Materials:

** yarn in 5 colors, crochet hook 2.75 mm (C) or the size that will give an acceptable gauge, scissors and Tapestry needle to weave the ends.

** One button of appropriate size, cord for making side/bottom part of the bag (optional), ready strap (optional), metal rings of appropriate diameter for installing strap (optional).

There are two copies of the pattern offered to download: one is very detailed with many pictures, and second copy is printer friendly (with written instructions only and no pictures).
