Whatcha-ma-call-it
It is very seldom that I have an idea of what I’m doing when I first begin a design. I tend to rather let the yarn take me where it wants to go, so I don’t really work a pattern with some form of inspiration, like a beautiful sunset or a memory (although sometimes working a design might spark a memory, kinda like when you hear a song that makes you remember something. Well, this often leaves me with the predicament of what to name my creations once they have been “born.”
In the process of design, I started calling this one Whatcha-ma-call-it, you know like when you’re looking for something, but you can’t remember what it’s called so you say: “Have you seen the thingie-mabob or the doo-dad or the whatcha-ma-call-it”?
Every time I called the blanket the Whatcha-ma-call-it, it just made me giggle thinking of everyone posting their beautiful Whatcha-ma-call-its or imagining someone asking: “What is that pattern called?” It’s the Whatcha-ma-call-it! lolololololol. I guess it’s silly little things that make us giggle when the world seems to be a little cuckoo!
I really hope you have fun with your Whatcha-ma-call-it and can’t wait to see.

Whatcha-ma-call-it is a repeat blanket (the pattern works through a set amount of rounds and then repeats itself), giving you the option to customize to any size your little heart dreams up ❤️
The yarn instructions given in the pattern info above are for the blanket made with ColourSpun Dk Cotton Moya Shimmer.
It uses US terminology and is worked in rounds.
Skill level - Easy peasy, with a few tricksy spots
