Westside Market Scarf
This infinity scarf is inspired by the West Side Market in Cleveland, Ohio. It is a beautiful indoor/outdoor market filled with individual stands which offer a wide variety of items. This scarf is knit in the round as a long tube. The use of a provisional cast on allows the two ends of the tube to be grafted together, resulting in a continuous loop. It can be knit in two sizes: a small size which is worn around the neck like a cowl, and a large size which can be worn long or wrapped twice around the neck.
This pattern consists mainly of written instructions. However, the colorwork portion of the scarf is available solely in charted form.
This pattern requires the ability to work both a provisional cast on and the kitchener stitch.
The pictured sample was knitted using Knit Picks Stroll in Ash (Color A), White (Color B), and Wonderland Heather (Color C).
