Westknits Go-To Raglan
This easy top-down raglan sweater is the perfect pattern when you want to make a simple sweater with worsted weight yarn. The colorful sample features two strands of fingering weight yarn held together for a vibrant marled body and sleeves. This marled technique is a brilliant way to use leftover bits of yarn from your other sweater, shawl, and sock projects. The yoke incorporates seamless shaping to lower the front of the neckline for a comfortable fit. You can choose to knit the cuffs with or without thumbholes. Use this pattern as a playful landscape to paint with your beautiful yarns!

Pattern Notes
The sample features a marled color technique using two strands of fingering weight yarn held together. For a similar style, use 1 color throughout the entire sweater (shown in Qing Fibre - Siren colorway) and change the second strand every 3-15 rows. There are a couple mohair accents in the sweater as well. Don’t be afraid to add a little kidsilk lace weight mohair if you like fluffy textures.
You can use 1 strand of fingering weight wool + 2 strands of lace weight mohair/silk OR 2 strands of fingering weight + 1 strand of lace weight mohair/ silk for a fuzzy accent stripe. I only did this twice in the sample sweater for a couple subtle textured stripes.
