This delightfully easy to crochet hat is available in sizes child (6-10 years), teen and adult. The hat is worked from the bottom band, up to the crown of the hat in one piece.

I have included instructions in my post to customize this hat to other sizes (in case you’d like it to fit a different sized head). Instructions are also included to make the hat into a slouch hat.

I’ve fallen in love with both the yarn used (which was given to me by King Cole) and the stitch pattern used in this hat (Zig Zag Lozenge Stitch). The finished hat is a tiny bit poufy at the top and looks fabulous on (this one is for my daughter). I’ve just ordered more yarn to make myself one too.

The yarn color I used is called Rockies (Shade: 4181).
