Den “Wellentanz” stellt Heike von Mondlichtgarne in ihrem neuen Podcast Nr. 71 vor. Ich freue mich wahnsinnig über diese wundervolle Zusammenarbeit. Herzlichen Dank liebe Heike - auch dafür dass ich deine wunderschönen Fotos hier zeigen darf!!!

Die Tiefen des Meeres sind fantastisch und geheimnisvoll, eine andere Welt. Im Meer zu schwimmen, sich vom Wasser tragen zu lassen, umgeben von vielen kleinen Wellen, die im Licht der Sonne tanzen, das ist Urlaubsgefühl pur. Dieses Gefühl einzufangen, hat mich zum „Wellentanz“ Tuch inspiriert.
Du kannst das Tuch prinzipiell mit jedem Garn stricken. Jede Reihe ist ausgeschrieben, du kannst aber auch nach der Strickschrift (Chart) stricken. Die Anleitung beinhaltet die Angaben für ein kleines und ein großes Tuch. Tatsächlich kannst du die Größe variieren und selbst bestimmen. So kannst du das Tuch aus einem Strang stricken, aus zwei Strängen oder drei…je nach Geschmack. Folge einfach den Anweisungen im Muster. Du kannst das Tuch einfarbig stricken oder die Wellenkante mit einem Mini oder Garnrest farblich absetzten. Da auch die Rückseite des „Wellentanzes“ schön ist, kann du es beidseitig tragen.
Schwierigkeitsgrad: Leicht für fortgeschrittene Stricker.
Fertige Abmessungen: Das fertige kleine Tuch hat eine Länge von ca. 145cm und eine Tiefe von 40cm, das große Tuch ist ca. 185cm lang und 50cm tief.
Die Anleitung ist sehr ausführlich geschrieben und mit Fotos und Fotokursen versehen. Am Ende der Anleitung findest du einen kleinen Ausflug zur Ostseeinsel Fehmarn, sowie das Rezept für einen „Sanddorn“ Cocktail. Beides stimmt dich auf deinen einzigartigen „Wellentanz“ ein. Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn wir gemeinsam deinen einzigartigen “Wellentanz” stricken würden…

The depths of the sea are fantastic and mysterious - a world unto themselves. Swimming in the ocean and letting the water carry you, surrounded by countless tiny waves dancing in the sunlight - that is the magic of a holiday. This is the feeling that inspired me for the creation of the “Wave Dance“ Shawl.
In principle, this shawl can be knitted using any yarn you like. Every row is written out, though you can also follow the chart. The pattern includes instructions for both a small and a large version; in fact, you can adjust the size exactly as you wish. You can knit the shawl using one, two, or three skeins - entirely up to you. Simply follow the instructions provided in the pattern. You can knit the shawl in a single color or incorporate a contrasting color into the wavy border using a mini-skein or leftover yarn. Since the back of the “Wave Dance” looks just as beautiful as the front, the shawl is reversible.
Skill Level: Easy for advanced knitters.
Finished Measurements: The finished small shawl measures approx. 57inches/145cm in lengt and 15.7inches/40cm in depth; the large shawl is approx. 73inches/185cm long and 19.7inches/50cm deep.
The instructions are very detailed and include photos and photo tutorials. At the end of the pattern, you’ll find a brief excursion to the Baltic Sea island of Fehmarn, as well as a recipe for a “Sea Buckthorn” Cocktail. Both will put you in the mood for your unique “Wave Dance.” I would be delighted if we would knit your unique “Wave Dance” together…
