Weekend Wanderer
If you add 4 of my designs to your cart, the least expensive one will be free ~ enjoy!
Weekend Wanderer blends clean lines of ribbing with gentle curves of lace. This asymmetric fingering weight shawl is knitted mainly in garter stitch and features a column of ribbing and lace along one edge.
Once the edging has been established, it becomes easy to read your knitting so that you can bring it with you on a weekend excursion and pick it up whenever you have a spare moment. The different sections of the lace keep the knitting interesting, and, if you wish, you can adjust the number of repeats to make the most of your yarn.
When your project is complete, it can be worn either as a shawl or wrapped bandana-style. Either way, this is a stylish, wearable piece, with neat lines and just a touch of graceful lace. Finish it during your weekend getaway, and you can even wear it as you wander!
