SRK 180 Weekend Jacket
Sandi Prosser for Kertzer c.2006

Distinctive and dashing and very easy. The main body of this coat is worked from side to side, which of course enables the yarn’s variegations to run vertically up your body and lengthen it (as well as your legs-- wear boots!). The armholes are just notches, and the stitch pattern doesn’t get more complicated than combinations of garter stitch and knit/purl. And yet it has a rich tapestry effect that’s intensely pleasing. No size takes more than 5 balls of this democratically-priced yarn. This design originally appeared in Knit ‘N Style magazine.
