Way Around The Border Shawl
Mariola Malinowska and Elżbieta Sroczyńska joked about a crochet train ride around the border of Poland. They challenged me to make a design for a quick shawl to do on the trip. Way Around The Border (WATB) is the result.
This is a triangular shawl. This pattern is for beginners. The pattern is worked from the bottom up. There are no repeats, the whole design is represented.
Yarn:
I suggest KoKonki Motki Ombre (50% cotton, 50% acrylic), KoKonki Motki Ombre Merino (50% merino, 50% acrylic), KoKonki Motki Ombre Shine (6% metallic lurex 47% cotton 47% acrylic), or KoKonki Motki Ombre Soft (100% acrylic).
Available online at kokonki.pl. #kokonki #kokonkimotkiombre
They also have a range of Scheepjes and YarnArt Flowers, yarn which would also be suitable for this project.
Only 1000m is required for this project.
