The wavy balaclava is knitted flat from the top down in wavy garter stitch ridges.

An I-cord edge around the face is created as you knit, which makes the balaclava easy to try on while knitting. At the bottom, the neck
ribbing is knitted in the round. The balaclava has a simple shape and is fun to knit.

What makes it unique is the choice of materials: play with yarns in varying textures or use up leftovers from your stash to create your own unique balaclava with colourblock waves.

Sizing: Sizes 1 (2) 3 are designed to fit a head circumference of 55-56 (57-58) 59-60 cm / 21.75 - 22 (22.5 - 22.75) 23.25 - 23.5 inches.

Width of the finished Balaclava laying flat:
16,5 (19) 21,5 cm / 6.5 (7.5) 8.5 inches.

Gauge: 24 stitches and 18 ridges (36 rows) equals 10 x10 cm / 4 x 4 inches in garter wave stitch, measured after washing and
