These socks are worked from the cuff down with an easy-to-memorize pattern on the front of the leg, with a Forethought Heel.

Self-striping yarn is one of my favorite yarns to work with. It’s so satisfying to see the colors change without having to weave in any ends. I wanted to incorporate texture while using stitches that would interact with the yarn. It’s enjoyable not just to watch the color changes, but also to see how the pattern creates waves. NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
Circular needles (with cable length of 80cm (32’’) for magic loop) of 2.5 mm (US 1.5) - or size required to obtain the gauge.
