This stitch is a softer-edged version of the chevron stich. It is worked in a similar way, using pairs of increases and decreases to create “hill” tops and “valley” bottoms. The design is based on pattern repeats, so is easily adapted. For example, you could make it narrower for a scarf or broader to make a blanket or throw.
