Waterspray is a unisex baby blanket, crocheted out of a very soft baby alpaca. So soft that my 6 year old tough guy has been wrapping it around himself while watching Sponge Bob! I used scrap fingering yarn to do the trim since I wanted to try a few different colors. It takes about 80-100 yards of fingering yarn for the trim.

Final measurements are 25X30 inches. Using a dk or worsted (doubleknit and 10 ply for you Europeans, Ozzies and Kiwis!) yarn would work out nicely as well and make a slightly bigger blanket to take the baby into childhood.
