Waterspouts are generally formed by a tornado over water. They are funnel shaped clouds rotating over water, and can sometimes be seen in the Great Lakes.

The Waterspout Shawl is knit from the neck-to-edge, with lace and twisted stitches. It can be knit in fingering weight or worsted weight yarn.
