Waterlily Top
Interweave SKU: EP0164
Pattern description from Interweave Knits, Spring 2006:
A graceful frilled hem and soft variegated color make this top reminiscent of Monet’s famous waterlilies. The shaped tunic is worked in the round to the armhole, then the front and back are worked separately. The front half of the fitted bodice is worked on the bias - the stitches slant toward the center, while the back is worked straight up in the usual way. Eyelets add a decorative touch to the center front and back and outline the edges of the tunic’s V-neckline.
Finished Size: 30¾ (34¾, 38¾, 42¾)“ (78 [88.5, 98.5, 108.5] cm) bust circumference.
Yarn: Colinette Giotto (50% cotton, 40% rayon, 10% nylon; 156 yd [144 m]/100 g): #101 Monet, 3 (3, 3, 4) skeins. Yarn distributed by Unique Kolours.
Needles: Size 10½ (6.5 mm), 11 (8 mm) and 13 (9 mm): 24” (60-cm) circulars (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.
