WATER LILIES
This shawl is your easy and happy knitting. Once cast on you can knit as much as you like. When ever you leave your knitting you can come back to the work easily, because the pattern is so simple.
In Water Lilies we use the technique Assigned Pooling, as invented by Dawn Barker.
Use yarn, specially dyed for this purpose.
There should be two colors, a main color and a contrast color of approx. 30-40 cm / 12-16” of length of the skein.
The shawl is worked in stocking sts using the main color. The flower buds are worked in the contrast color, whenever this color appears.
