Warrior
Warrior combines strength and delicacy.
The textured body with structured, directional ridges feels grounded and steady. Then it breaks into open lace that lets the shawl breathe.
Worked in worsted-weight yarn, it’s a satisfying knit that grows quickly into a generous triangle. The bias construction gives a lovely drape, and the I-cord bind-off adds a polished finish.
It’s the kind of shawl you knit to unwind, with just enough interest to keep you leaning in.
YARN
Four skeins of dLana 100% Lana Merina autóctona (100% merino wool; 125 m / 137 yds per 50 g).
Or approximately 438 m / 479 yds of similar worsted-weight yarn.
NEEDLES
Size 5 mm / US 8 needles or size to obtain pattern gauge
Although you work this shawl flat, I recommend using 80–100 cm / 32–40 inch circular needles to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
Gauge affects the finished size and the amount of yarn needed.
FINISHED SIZE After blocking
