This is a pattern for an ornately cabled shawl.

This shawl is knitted with light worsted weight yarn.. The shawl is approximately 20 inches x 74 inches.

The focal cable stitch comes to us from Canada and the creative mind of Annie Maloney while the side cables are a more familiar Aran cable.

The stitches are both charted and written out, however, it is important that you can read and refer to a chart.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a very good working knowledge of cabling .)

There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged. This is the ONLY crochet in the pattern.

This pattern was expertly tested by Lisa Lynn who can be reached at: lilypupsleep@outlook.com. It was knit using Malabrigo’s Rio in colorway, white, and requires approximately 1000 - 1200 yards to make the shawl as shown.

The pattern is for sale here on Ravelry and in my Etsy Shop in the Shawls/Stoles/Scarves section (https://www.etsy.com/shop/WearableArtEmporium?section_id=…)
