This pocket scarf crochet pattern has simple stripes and heart motifs on the pockets. This pattern was the seventh Weekend Mystery Crochet Along with Underground Crafter.

Finished Size
Teen/Adult: Scarf: 7” (18 cm) wide x 60.75” (153.5 cm) long with pockets seamed.
Pockets: 7.5” (19 cm) deep.
Heart Motif: 4.75” (12 cm) from tip to center of bumps.
Materials
Eddie Bauer Cozy Camp yarn (100% recycled acrylic, 3.5 oz/100 g, 229 yd/200 m) – 2 skeins in Pacific Blue (CA) and 1 skein in Scarlet (CB), or approximately 455 yd (416 m) and 155 yd (142 m) in any medium weight yarn.
Tip: You may want to choose red for one of the colors if you select alternative yarns.
Knitter’s Pride Waves US Size J-10/6 mm crochet hook, or any size needed to obtain correct gauge.
Yarn needle.
Locking stitch markers or pins (optional, for seaming).
Gauge
14 dc = 4” (10 cm) across. Exact gauge is not critical for this project.
10 rows in alternating dc row/sc row pattern = 4” (10 cm) tall. Exact gauge is not critical for this pattern.
