If you love knitting cables, you’ll enjoy this shawl made using light worsted weight yarn, guaranteeing that you’ll be warm. The patch pockets ensure that the shawl will stay put on your shoulders.

There is a very unique focal cable that is enhanced by a little known textured stitch. They combine beautifully into a single shawl They are both charted and written out, but it is recommended that you can easily refer to a chart.

There are instructions for a crocheted edging, should you want it edged and this is the ONLY crochet in the pattern.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cable knitting).

This pattern was expertly tested by Emily Fleet who you can reach at: knitasheep@gmail.com. The shawl was knit with Fleece Artist’s Organic Chinook yarn and requires approximately 1650 yards for a shawl that is 23 1/2 inches X 78 inches, with pockets.

The pattern is for sale, both in my Ravelry Store:
and in my Etsy shop, in the Pocket Shawl Section (https://www.etsy.com/shop/WearableArtEmporium?ref=seller-…)
