• Size 5, 3.75 mm Knitting Needles
• 2 Skeins Juniper Moon Farm, Herriot Fine – 75% Alpaca, 25% Plyamide, 100 g / 3.52 oz & 461 yds / 420 m; Color shown, 2011 Merlot Red
~ Approx. 840 yds / 765 m of fingering weight yarn
• 4 Stitch Markers optional
• Darning Needle
Gauge:
• ~28 stitches x 31 rows = 4” x 4” in pattern (blocked)
Finished Size:
• 70” Long x 11” Wide (blocked)
Notes:
• Pattern starts on the wrong side, so odd numbered rows are on the wrong side and even are on the right side.
• When the number of stiches in a row changes, the new stitch count is written in (blue italics)
• Repeats are marked in red
• All slipped stitches are slipped purl-wise with the yarn in front
There was a mistake in the early free pattern on rows 60 & 74 of the written instructions. They should have read:
