Wara Scarf
Wara is a generously sized rectangular
stole that begins with rich braid work,
transitions to an elegant and geometric
sequence of textured rhombuses, then
repeats the initial section for a symmetrical,
balanced wrap. Long fringe at both
ends provide movement and stylish fun.
Gauge
• 22 sts and 28 rows = 4”/10 cm in
Stockinette stitch, after blocking.
• 23 sts and 32 rows = 4”/10 cm in cable
pattern stitch, after blocking.
Note: Gauge is not crucial, but
differences will affect yardage and
finished dimensions.
Final Measures
Length & Width (after blocking): 64 x
12.5”/151 x 31.5 cm (without fringe)
