WanderKnit™ - Meshu Meshu Market Bag
Come travel with us! Discover, learn, and become inspired by our destination-themed quarterly WanderKnit™ packages.
When offered food in Bhutan, it is considered courteous to refuse at least twice by saying “meshu meshu” and to close your mouth. This is to express gratitude and an unwillingness to inconvenience others. If the food continues to be offered, it is then polite to accept and enjoy the offering.
This meshy tote is ready to accompany you to the local farmer’s market, grocery store, or simply as a cheerful project bag! For a sturdy, reliable fabric, we chose four complimentary colors of HiKoo® CoBaSi DK. This cotton, silk, and bamboo blend feature just a touch of nylon for strength, so you can stock up on all the food and flowers you can carry.
Step-by-step instructions for each technique are included.
