A walk in the wood (German: Waldspaziergang) early in the morning can be magical. The sun has not risen fully, tree trunks rise up straight, interspersed with a play of light and shadow — I tried to capture some of this in my wrap. Straight ribs in Balance alternate with playful lace.

The asymmetrical pattern grows from the inside out, so you can easily adapt the size to your preferences. The lace pattern on the inside of the wrap is nice and easy, the lace edge gives some variety. The wrap is worked in slip stitch crochet, thus it has great drape.

Ein Waldspaziergang am frühen Morgen hat etwas Magisches. Die Sonne ist noch tief am Himmel, gerade Stämme sind fest verwurzelt, dazwischen ein Spiel von Licht und Schatten — das habe ich versucht, mit diesem Tuch einzufangen. Feste Rippen in Balance wechseln sich mit einem Lochmuster in Lace ab.

Das asymmetrische Muster wächst von innen nach außen, ist also sehr leicht in der Größe anzupassen. Das Lacemuster im Inneren des Tuches ist schön einfach, das am Rand gibt noch Abwechslung zum Abschluss. Das Tuch wird aus Kettmaschen gehäkelt, dadurch fällt es besonders schön.
