Walda Hat
This is an intermediate pattern, however I included lots of step by step pictures in the pattern to help you make this special hat even if you are not that experienced :)
Materials:
• Thick worsted weight yarn (like Vanna’s Choice) 8 oz/230 g
• Hook K10.5/6.50 mm
• 1 large button
• Stitch marker (SM)
Gauge: 13 dc = 4 1/8” (10,5 cm), 7 rows = 4” (10 cm)
Stitches used:
• ch – chain
• Sl st – slip stitch
• Dc2tog – 2 double crochet finished together
• BPdc – back post double crochet
• FPdc – front post double crochet
• FPtrc – front post treble crochet
• FPdtrc – front post double treble crochet
Yarn over hook three times, then insert hook under next post.
Yarn over hook and draw yarn through – you now have five loops on the hook.
Loop yarn over hook and draw through two loops, (there are now four loops remaining on the hook), yarn over hook and draw through two loops, repeat * to twice more.
This completes one front post double treble crochet.
