September is Suicide Awareness and Prevention Month.

All money from the purchase of this pattern will be donated to Youth Hope - an organization that works with teens to help prevent suicide and end homelessness - and so much more.

I love that the symbol for suicide prevention is a semi colon. Sometimes, when things seem impossible, you just need to wait. I wish my sister had. I miss her everyday and this cowl is dedicated to her memory and to all those who lost a loved one to suicide. But even more, I hope with education and communication, we can convince more people to pause before taking action. We all matter and there is no greater gift than to love each other. My special thanks to Beatrice for inspiring me to design this and for her testing and feedback.
