Knitting for babies is one of my greatest pleasure as a crafter. The little garments are irresistible, and with a good dose of love in every stitch, it’s the perfect welcome gift to a new soul.

This one is worked in one piece, from the bottom and up. Garter stitch gives a nice springy fabric, and the cable pattern on the front brings all its charm to this adorable piece.

Vulpin is an herbaceous plant, and the pattern of the cable made me thought about it immediately, hence the name.

Tricoter pour les bébés est l’un de mes plus grands plaisirs en tant qu’artisane. Les petits vêtements sont irrésistibles, et avec une bonne dose d’amour dans chaque point, c’est le cadeau de bienvenue parfait pour une nouvelle âme.

Celui-ci se tricote en une seule pièce, du bas vers le haut. Le point mousse donne un joli tissu moelleux, et le motif torsadé sur le devant apporte tout son charme à cette adorable pièce.

Le vulpin est une plante herbacée, et le motif de la torsade m’y a immédiatement fait penser, d’où son nom.
