Vove-socks have a textured stitch pattern and a heel wedge type heel which is worked both cuff down and toe up without picking up stitches.

The pattern has instructions for both CUFF DOWN and TOE UP socks for fingering, sport and worsted weigh yarn.

The pattern is written for magic loop, but can easily be modified for double pointed needles.

Fingering version

Sizes

S (56 sts), M (64 sts) and L (72 sts)

Yarn

100 g of fingering weight yarn, app. 400 m/ 437 yds per 100 g. The sample socks were knitted with Katia Socks Merino Tweed (75% Merino, 25% Nylon) in colourway 52 Light Grey, 390 m/ 427 yds per 100 g.

2.75 mm/ US 2 circular needle (80 cm/ 32 inches long or longer) or size to meet the gauge
