For all of us Americans, it’s time to vote! We have more reasons than ever to make our voices heard. All around the country, people have been stepping up to make change for their community; to bring about the future they wish to see. This is big work and it’s important.
The simplest way you can get involved is to vote and make your voices heard!
I’m sharing this as a free pattern because I believe in the message and it should be everywhere! Put it on a cushion or a bag, frame it or hang it in your window to remind your friends, family and neighbors to vote!
Cast your ballot and then cast on! This colorwork panel is knit in the round and then steeked to lie flat. The lettering is done afterwards in duplicate stitch. If you’ve never done either then, it’s a great time to learn a new skill.
This year, the election might be different to what you’re used to. Maybe you’re voting in a new way, or for the first time ever and you feel unsure. You may have to do a bit of research or ask a friend for help. It might take you a bit longer than expected. But, once it’s done you can look at it and say yes, I voted!
Let’s get out there and vote!
