What happens if you break up a traditional moss stitch with extra knit rows? What happens if you add colourful stripes to a texture pattern? What happens if you break up a knit row with extra yarn overs? I really enjoyed the process of developing this design - posing questions, toying with possibilities, merging different ideas together - and trust me when I say that knitting it is even more fun that designing it was!

The sweater is worked seamlessly in the round from the top down. Just below the collar, you will work a small section of short rows to ensure a comfortable fit around the neck and begin the raglan shaping. Continuing with the raglan increases, you will work much of the yoke in pattern, alternating your yarn each row and incorporating a simple knit purl texture. After the yoke, sleeve stitches are placed on waste yarn, to be returned to the needles and worked after the body is complete.
