This pattern is very straight forward with primary use of single crochets, slip stitches with some simple cross stitch facial features. For the 8 inch doll, you will want to gather 1 skein of primary color and a small amount of complimentary color for the cross stitch. A size 3 mm hook was used to create the tight stitching that keeps your dolls insides ON the inside. You will also want the “usuals”of scissors, stitch markers, pins and blunt end tapestry needle.
For the 4 inch doll, you will work 2 strands of size 10 thread. You can either use 2 balls or use 1 ball and create a bobbin (I wrap it around a paper towel roll) for the 2nd strand. A 2mm steel crochet hook is used to get the snug stitching of amigurumi! Of course, you will use the usuals for this pattern too. Both patterns require fiberfil.
Perfect for the Halloween holidays and for any other use that you may deem desired. The small doll is particularly fun to use as a pin cushion for other crafts, a key fob, backpack fob, etc.
