The Virginia top is a delicate, seamless, top-down knit summer garment, which sits fitted around the bust and flares easily around the hips. The back is formed through a triangular lace panel which supports the two shoulder straps and can be finished with a lace trim. Small I-cord edges flow along the neck line to the side seam, which is slightly pulled towards the front to emphasize a slim body front. The body is shaped in an A-line to allow for a comfortable fit around the hip and is finished with a small I-cord or delicate crochet lace at the hem.

Yarn: Quince&Co Willet (146 m 160 yd per 50 gr 1.76 oz), Sport/DK weight yarn (100% Cotton); 3, 3 (4, 4, 5) 6, 7 balls.
Optional: Some leftover lace yarn (eg Knitting for Olive Silk Mohair)
Sample is knit in colorway “Bowsprit” in size M.
