Virginia sweater is knitted from top to bottom as one piece. It has an identical front and back, so you can wear it whichever way you want. It is a quick and uncomplicated knit – easy enough for beginners and enjoyable for more experienced knitters.

Bust circumference: 35 (39, 43, 47, 51, 55)” / 90 (99, 108, 119.5, 129.5, 140) cm.
Arm circumference: 9 (10, 11, 12, 13, 14)” / 23 (25.5, 28, 30.5, 33, 35.5) cm.
Arm length from underarm: 12.75” / 32 cm or desired length.
Length from underarm to hem: 14.5” / 37 cm or desired length.

MATERIALS
Yarn: 5 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7) skeins of Priestess DK by Ritual Dyes (100% fine superwash merino, 250 yds / 229 m – 115 g), colourway Rose Gold. Or approx. 1250 (1250, 1250, 1500, 1500, 1750) yds / 1145 (1145, 1145, 1374, 1374, 1603) m of DK weight yarn.

Needles: US 6 / 4 mm circular needles for stockinette stitch and ribbing, 1 spare needle for 3-needle bind-off.

Notions: 1 stitch marker, waste yarn, tapestry needle.

GAUGE
21 sts x 31 rows = 4” / 10 cm on US 6 / 4 mm needles in stockinette stitch, after blocking.
