I wanted a departure from traditional raglan shaping for this capelet, so I chose a hexagon, which adds the point in the front and back. Because the piece is made from the top down, you can try it on as you work and make any adjustments you want: make it shorter to be worn just over your shoulders, or longer to make a full cape. The basic pattern (increases and striping) can be repeated as many times as you like!
