This long scarf is worked flat. The elongated slipped stitches mimic a woven plaid.
chunky weight: 109 yds/100 m per 100 g in (MC) Light Hazelnut: 3 balls and (CC) Light Ruby Shoes, 1 ball
US Size 13 (9 mm) knitting needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Tapestry needle, sharp scissors & crochet hook for fringe.
Finished measurements:
approx. 12”/30 cm wide; 40”/100 cm long.
Notes:
Carry the yarn neatly up the side of the scarf to reduce number of ends to weave in.
Adjust the width and length as desired by casting on any multiple of 5 sts plus 1 and working to desired length. Remember that any change in gauge or dimensions will affect the required yardage.
