The pattern is based on the traditional Granny Square and involves working in the round, starting in the middle and adding each round in turn. The pattern requires 1000g/2950m of double knit yarn in nine different colours and the finished item is approximately 100cm by 100cm. The pattern can be easily adapted to be bigger or smaller, if desired, by adding more or less rounds. The blanket is finished off with a simple two-round border.
