I often look through vintage knitting patterns for inspiration. I don’t remember where the inspiration for this one came from though I’ve been wanting to knit it up for some time, only in an adult version, although it’s absolutely perfect as a kid’s sweater too. The phrase “everything old is new again” can easily apply to this classic cardi.
