Vindla (Winding)
A long infinity scarf in a beautiful silk yarn, which drapes elegantly around your shoulders. Doubled up it will protect you from the cold.
As a variation, it can be made a scarf, with the beautiful winding lace pattern across each edge.
To make the set complete, there is also a hat, in the same lace pattern.
The lace is rather straightforward, and should be easy to “read”. Instructions are provided both as charts, and written out.
Please note that silk has a great drape. If you choose to work in another fiber, such as wool, you may want to go up in needle size, or use a slightly thinner yarn, to get a drapey result. Yardage requirements may change too.
