ottenendo così un elegante effetto melange.

Il filato è lavorato doppio. Nella prima sezione di
lavora con due capi di CP (si consiglia di

uno di CC per ottenere l’effetto marled.

VIN BRULÈ is a unisex hat that is simple yet effective. Indeed the hat is knitted in stockinette stitch holding two strands of different colours together, resulting in a delightfully speckly fabric. This technique is also known as marled knitting.

MATERIALS
YARN: Lang Yarns Gordon (92% extra-fine merino,
8% cashmere, 50 g per 190 m), in two contrasting
shaded
MC: 1 yarn ball, shown in blue (shade 25)
CC: 1 yarn ball, shown in burgundy (64)
The yarn is held double. In the first section, two strands of MC are held together (you may just use the two ends from the same yarn ball), while in the second section a strand of CP is held together with a strand of MC.
NEEDLES & NOTIONS: 4.50 mm (US 7) circular needles,
tapestry needle, 4 stitch markers.
GAUGE
16 sts and 26 rows in 10 cm(4 in) x 10 cm (4 in) in stockinette stitch in the round Adjust the needle size so as to meet the required
