Vim Infinity Scarf
V I M means lively or energetic spirit; enthusiasm; vitality. This scarf was one of a few patterns that really had me excited from the moment I started working it up. I’ve made several and find them to be a great stash buster and the method to combining the cakes held double makes for very interesting and unique finished makes each time.
MATERIALS
7.0mm crochet hook
2 cakes of dk (3) weight yarn (590 yards each) -Sample used Lion Brand Mandala in color way Genie. This scarf is worked holding the yarn double, so pick your two cakes accordingly.
For the Vim Lite version: 312 yards of bulky yarn - Example used Red Heart Gemstone yarn
Darning needle
Scissors
Favorite cup of coffee or tea to enjoy while you relax!
Don’t forget that new show you wanted to catch up on.
TIPS FOR PICKING YOUR CAKES:
Find two cakes that are nearly identical to have a same color on color transition.
Find two cakes that are just a bit off to create a fade look. (ie: if your first cake goes white, gray, black find a cake that goes 1/2 of the white, gray, black, 1/2 of the white at the end to create a fade).
Find two cakes with entirely different sequences to make a true color creative scarf.

The overall measurements of the Vim Infinity scarf is approximately 34” across and 10” tall.
The Vim Lite Infinity scarf is approximately 34” across and 6 “ tall.
DIFFICULTY
This pattern is best suited for Beginner. Knowledge of working in the round is required and knowledge of foundation row in lieu of chains to start is also helpful.
