Vilya Convertible Mittens
Set your fingers free with the convertible mittens! The bottom band features an alternate color cast on and color ribbing. Knit a little color work banding, and then on to the mitten … add some short fingers and a mitten cap. Pair with the matching beret and you’re ready for winter!
Size: Adult Small 6 ½” (Large 8”)
Gauge: 26st/4” on US 4 in Stockinette Stitch
Needles: (2) US 4 Circular Needles or US 4 Double Points or size to obtain gauge
Materials: Materials: Shown in Lorna’s Laces Honor (70% Baby Alpaca/30% Silk: 275 yards/100g) Main Color (MC) and Lorna’s Laces Angel (70% Angora/30% Lambswool: 50yds/14g) Contrast Color (CC)
Yardage: Approximately 175 yards sport weight (1 Skein), and 40 yards light worsted weight angora blend (1 skein)
Notions: 3 Stitch Markers; waste yarn, stitch holders or a spare pair of US 4 Double Points
