Shawls are ideal all-season wear—from chasing the cool of a summer evening to providing a welcome extra layer in the depth of winter. For this shawl, Nancy Bush took inspiration from the triangular shawls made in Estonia today and combined a variety of patterns. She worked it in the softest cashmere, in green, of course. Videvik means dusk in Estonian, and this shawl provides a warm retreat on a winter’s evening, when the last of the sun’s rays give way to darkness, and it’s time to light the lamp. Nancy worked this shawl from the bottom to the top, shaping it with decreases along the way.
