Vidalia Lace Shawl
Vidalia onions aren’t just the most famous onions in the world …they may be the only famous onions in the world.
Crescent shape shawl, knitted in fingering weight yarn from the bottom up. Lace first, short rows second. And finished with I-cord bind off
The lace part can be worked from the written instructions or the charts.
- Yarn: Any fingering weight yarn (440 yd / 100g)
- Needles: US #5 / 3.75 mm circular needles US #8 / 5 mm circular needles
- Notions: Stitch markers, darning needle
Pattern available in two formats: compact (2 pages, 11 pt) and large print (6 pages, 20 pt) - instructions in larger print format ( this version is better for those who uses portable devices like tablets and e-readers; also for those knitters who have difficulties reading small font on paper)
