This is a lovely, Victorian-inspired Baby Set designed by Mom. It includes a sweet “Matinee Jacket”, Bonnet, Booties & matching Blanket. They feature the gorgeous Rosebud Lace Pattern, Pico Edging & contrasting I-cord trimming. This would be a wonderful pattern set for the Experienced Knitter. This baby set would fit a baby from Birth to 6 months of age. The blanket requires approximately 6 skeins (220 yards each skein) & 3 skeins total for the Matinee Jacket, Bonnet & Booties. The contrasting yarn for the I-cord takes less than 1 skein. Mom used Herrschner’s 2-ply yarn, but you could use any Sport-Weight Yarn of your choice.
