Victoria Shrug
A simple and graceful knitted shrug, perfect for all seasons.
There are times in your life that when introduced to such a sweet and beautiful yarn that it stops you in your knitting tracks. It makes you sit and day dream ideas to capture the elegance and simplicity of its luxurious nature.
This is how I came to design this light and snuggly shrug. I wanted to combine the warmth and drape of Alpaca with an easy wearing contemporary piece….
The Victoria Shrug is designed to showcase the stunning NZ Alpaca yarn by Outlaw Yarns; Vanitas DK.
This yarn absolutely must make a feature on your needles. It is so soft yet full. Its sheen and gentle halo are devine. Oh and the knitting, this is happy happy days!
This pattern is the perfect 3 ball pattern and suitable for beginners – yet has a few options to challenge the knitter wanting to extend their skills.
I challenge you to knit one shrug and not immediately crave another!
This pattern is suitable for beginners up, those comfortable with knit, purl, cast on and off, and happy following a pattern. It has options to use more advanced skills including a provisional cast on and options to use kitchener stitch or 3 needle bind off.
This pattern was developed by Michelle Stewart aka Mitzy Moo Knits
Hope you enjoy our new pattern ☺
